You don't measure loyalty by blood or rank. You measure it by who stood beside you when it counted — and you never leave that post, even when nobody's watching.

Private Wojtek was a Syrian brown bear adopted by Polish soldiers in 1942. He travelled with the 22nd Artillery Supply Company, carried ammunition crates during the Battle of Monte Cassino, and was formally enlisted as a soldier — drawing rations, holding rank, sharing quarters with the men who never once treated him as anything less than one of their own.

Sargent Bear is a print about that kind of loyalty — the kind that doesn't ask what you are, only whether you showed up.
